题目：One way to solve the problem of parking in inner city areas is to have a large car parks around the city century and a public transport network take people around the inner city, inner city parking would then be limited and very expensive. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this approach to urban planning?

As we all know, the parking of in inner city area is one of the million-dollar question in urban planning. And one of the methods to solve this problem is to build huge parking lots and complete the public transport network. I think this method have many good effects in urban planning. Despite of this, the disadvantage of this way is something we can’t ignore.

Actually, this method can satisfy different requirements from all of principals. Building huge parking lots and complete transport network provide the convenience to simple citizen who live in the around of city, they can drive their private car to everywhere without worrying about whether there has a parking lot. And this measure is also helpful to white-collar worker who work in city center. Because of job, they need to go to company on time, and public transport become a stable and low-cost choice for them. In addition to this, the parking lots and public transport will produce loading surplus just like commercial activity and tourism. That’s mean government can gain long-term benefit by this way.

Although build parking lots and complete public transport have many benefits on global view, it also has many drawbacks in detail. For instance, big parking lots need to occupy much place in city center. Or they can choose to build them underground, but they need to consider security in this way. Although parking lots and public transport can produce long-term benefit, it also need much money temporary in the initial stage. This is important problem for company and government to consider whether project can produce benefit as expected.

In a word, build parking lots and complete public transport system have long-term benefit and provide convenience for people in sum. But it also will cause some problem like cost too much or occupy public space. So we need consider the reality situation of different cities and adopt different ways to solve problem.(321 words)
