Q - Comprehensible
A - COMPREHENSIBLE INPUT is based on Krashen's theory in which learners acquire language naturally. The teacher provides material that is slightly above the student's current level so the student can build on prior knowledge. Swain's COMPREHENSIBLE OUTPUT theory points out that speaking a language involves a different process than understanding a language. Learners can best achieve fluency when teachers provide them with opportunities to speak in the classroom. Feedback from the teacher and classmates allows students to correct errors and to improve their verbal communication skills.
