Freddy moved into a new house.
弗雷德搬进了一所新房子。
He liked his room.
He liked the street.
他喜欢他的房子。
他也喜欢这街道。
“Who will be my friends ?”he asked.
He rolled his ball to a little dog.
“谁将成为我的朋友呢？”他问。
他把球抛向一只小狗。
He rolled his ball to a cat.
They did not it back.
他又把球抛向一只小猫。
它们都没有把球扔回来。
“Who will be my friends ? ” he asked.
“I am your friend ,”
said the policeman.
“谁会是我的朋友呢？”他问。
“我是你的朋友”警察说。
“I am your friend ."
said the mailman.
“I am your friend ,”
said the street cleaner.
“我是你的朋友”邮递员说。
“我是你的朋友”街道清洁员说。
“Let’s play ball ,”said Freddy.
“I have to walk my beat ,”
said the policeman.
“让我们一起玩球吧”费雷德说。
“我要去巡逻”警察说。
“I have to bring the mail ,”
said the mailman.
“I have to clean the street ,”
said the street cleaner.
“我要去送信”邮递员说。
“我要去打扫街道”清洁员说。
“Who will be my friends ? ”
asked Freddy.
He went to the playground.
“谁是我的朋友呢？”弗雷德说。
他来到游戏场。
Boys were playing ball.
“Who will be my friends ? ”
asked Freddy.
孩子们在玩儿球。
“谁会是我的朋友？”费雷德问。
The boys went right on playing.
“I guess I will have to play by myself ,”
said Freddy.
男孩儿们正玩儿的起劲呢。
“我看我要自己玩儿了”弗雷德说。
He threw his ball up in the air—
—and caught it.
他把球抛向空中。
并接住它。
He threw his ball up in the air—
—and caught it !
他把球抛向空中。
并接住它。
He threw it still higher—
—and caught it.
他把它扔得更高。
并接住它。
“Who will be my friends ? ”
asked Freddy.
“谁会是我的朋友？”弗雷德问。
“We will ,”said the boys.
“We need someone who can throw
and catch like that .”
“我们是”男孩子们说，
“我们需要一个人能像那样扔球和接球。”
“Let’s shake on it ,” said Freddy.
And they did.
“让我们握握手吧，”弗雷德说。
孩子们一一和他握手。
