Abstract
The research object of this thesis is entrepreneurs. From the perspective of entrepreneurs' motives, this paper studies the evolution path of entrepreneurs' motives under different motives. Previous studies only divide entrepreneurs' motives from self-interest and altruism, only from self-interest and altruism. The path of the two motivations is differentiated. This study divides the motivation level of entrepreneurs into four levels: self-interest, kinship, reciprocal altruism and pure altruism, and studies the reasons for the rise and fall of entrepreneurs' motivation level by case study, and associates entrepreneurs' motives with enterprises. Economic value and social value. It provides a reference for improving the motivation level of entrepreneurs and promoting the unification of economic value and social value of entrepreneurial enterprises.
Propositions
Proposition 1: Starting from self-interested motives, from self-interest to kinship, to reciprocal altruism.
Proposition 2: Starting from altruistic motives, entrepreneurs from kinship to a reciprocal altruism, and ultimately to pure altruism.
Proposition 3: The rising factor from self-interested motivation to reciprocal altruism is the satisfaction of wealth needs.
Proposition 4: The external factor from the self-interested motivation to the reciprocal altruistic motivation is the empathy (branding theory) brought about by external stimuli.
Proposition 5: The external factor from the altruistic motivation to the altruistic motivation is technological progress.
Proposition 6: The influencing factor from the altruistic motive to the self-interested motive is the shortage of funds.
Proposition 7: The internal factors that drive from self-interested motivation to reciprocal altruism are responsibility and gratitude.
Proposition 8,: The internal factor from the reciprocal altruism to the purely altruistic motivation is the heart of love.
Proposition 9: Starting from altruistic motives, it has a positive impact on the unity of economic value and social value.
Proposition 10: Entrepreneur starting from self-interested motivation, only gaining economic value.
Discussion
Proposition 6 is not proved. The reason is that entrepreneurs starting from altruistic motives are determined to be deflated by money. There will be no decline in the level of motivation. Even if the economic situation is not good, the economic value and social value of the enterprise will be considered at the same time. Entrepreneurs who start from self-interested motives only consider the economic value of the enterprise in the initial stage. From the perspective of external factors, it is possible to form a motivational transition when experiencing technological progress, wealth demand satisfaction, or external stimulus, while considering the social value of the enterprise. . From the perspective of internal factors, entrepreneurs who are self-interested can only transition to kinship or reciprocal altruism after they have the sense of responsibility and gratitude. The entrepreneurial enterprises in the reciprocal stage can achieve the unification of economic value and social value. Entrepreneurs at the reciprocal level will turn to pure altruism when they have a big love heart.
Limitations and forward:
In this study, only two cases were used, and only qualitative research was used. There is less analysis of entrepreneurial motivation level decline. Future research can use multiple cases or quantitative research, focusing on the internal and external factors of entrepreneurial hierarchy decline.
