Lesson 62 After the fire
Firemen had been fighting the forest fire for nearly three weeks before they could get it under control. A short time before, great trees had covered the countryside for miles around. Now, smoke still rose up from the warm ground over the desolate hills. Winter was coming on and the hills threatened the surrounding villages with destruction, for heavy rain would not only wash away the soil but would cause serious floods as well. When the fire had at last been put out, the forest authorities ordered several tons of a special type of grass-seed which would grow quickly. The seed was sprayed over the ground in huge quantities by aero planes. The planes had been planting seed for nearly a month when it began to rain. By then, however, in many places the grass had already taken root. In place of the great trees which had been growing there for centuries, patches of green had begun to appear in the blackened soil.

When the fire had at last been put out, the forest authorities ordered several tons of a special type of grass-seed which would grow quickly. 这两句话，我得要换气好几次才能读顺，为什么今天读得都没气儿了，好乞丐。信誓旦旦跟娃儿爸讲，我半小时就能搞定，结果40分钟了，还是读得一塌糊涂。还有半个小时就12点了，加油~~
11:51，终于读完了，虽然有不满意的地方，但是好歹完成了，serious还是喜欢念成ˈsɪərɪəs
不过原音读得是ˈsɪərɪəs 还是ˈsɪriəs有点没有听出来，quantity听到第一个t是flap t，第二个是t，但是我会两个都发成flap t或者连个都读t
tons发的也不好听，miles around也不好听，s跟a连读不自然，今天ing的词缀发的也犯懒，拉的不够长，觉得没气了是关键。
rose up中s的发音是z，发的也不好听，还有就是r的音，今天也有点问题，尤其是前面是l结尾的单词，然后后面是r开头的单词，我的舌头有点转换不过来，会很想卷舌，舌头来不及往后缩了。
