This weekend of December 12th and 13th, I had a class at 10:30 to 12:30am, I had about 6 and 12 kids respectively from the age category of 10年 team D. The weather cold.
Topic: Passing the ball
1. Warm up
Content 1 (10min)
Within a square pitch of 20 x 20m, it is a fun game made by 2 teams of equal number of players for each side, and the goal of the game was to make 5 consecutive passes with hands among teammates for score one point. This has got the purpose of make kids learn how to exchange ball with teammate and distance themselves one they are in ball possession and once they lose the ball the learn how to defend one to one defense.
Content 2. (10min)
Content 1: Passing and receiving
The same game like in content 2, but use feet instead of using hands. Same conditions for scoring.
2. Technical drills: (30min)
Two players per group, then they make passes through 4 small cones in form of square of 2m x 2m like it appear on the photo above here. The exercise was performed in average because they are beginners in passing but they are promising as they managed to make it and tried to speed up the action by running out of time, where the best group should make a big number of passes within 1 minute of time.
3. Match (50min)
On Saturday we played 3 v 3 with the neighboring team C, team 1 played with team 1 for both C and D teams, although we lost for team 1 and equalize for team 2, for our side, team D, where majority are beginners this show that the level and experience of playing football matches is not the same, although the biological age is the same, but the training age is not the same. But the kids from D team they are also progressing.
