Good afternoon, boys and girls. I really like sharing stories with you. Do you like these stories? OK, today we will share this story 《Silly Little Goose》. It is for aged two to six children. The writer is Nancy Tafuri.
The story is to Cristina. Is she the daughter of the writer? I think maybe.
From the cover, we know the white one is mother goose, and the yellow ones are baby geese. Dora asks, ‘why the babies are yellow, and mother is white?’ Yes, they are different from young to old. Like our babies are getting taller and taller.
Honk, honk, mother goose comes.
One windy morning, Goose sets out to make a nest.
First, Goose finds someplace nice and warm. But it’a pigsty. Oink, oink.... Silly little goose.
Next, Goose finds someplace nice and quiet. But it’s a sheep pen. Baa...Baa...Silly little goose.
Then Goose finds someplace nice and cozy. But it’s hen house. Cluck...cluck....cheep....cheep.....Silly little goose.
What’s this? It’s warm. It’s quiet. It’s cozy. It’s perfect!
Goose makes her nest. She lays her eggs. She keeps them warm for days and days.....until at last....
Hooray for little goose! Peep! Peep!.....
The animals have new friends now.
The mother goose take their babies to swim in the river.
Again, one windy morning, goose sets out to make a nest.
Then we can cover the story and memorize the continue story with our babies. Where will the mother goose go and find the place to make the nest? What animals are there on the farm? How can the different animals to make the sound?
Babies think and think , they will give you the answer you cannot believe.
