A lot of people have great difficulties doing comprehension questions, they often feel overwhelmed just looking at the text, and they get low marks even when they feel they’ve done well. 1. Lack of vocabulary词汇量太少
There are a lot of ways to expand your vocabulary.
其实有很多方法可以扩大你的词汇量。
1) Memorize words from dictionary or book -- most used -- most boring
背字典里的单词——用得最多的——最无聊的
2) use an app or flash-cards to remember vocabularies -- remember better and faster
使用一些背单词的app或制作小卡片来记忆词汇——记得更快更好
3) accumulate vocabulary in everyday life -- listening to English music, radios, watching movies, and reading books -- useful vocabulary and enjoy learning
在日常生活中积累词汇——听英语音乐，听英语广播，看英语电影，读英语书——可以学到很常用的词，享受学习的乐趣
Therefore, as a person that never actually memorized words systematically, I still have a wide range of useful vocabulary. This is because I listen to native English speakers almost every day, and I watch a lot of English movies and shows without Chinese subtitles.
我作为一个从未真正刻意去记单词的人，仍然拥有大量有用的词汇。这是因为我几乎每天都听以英语为母语的人讲话，并且我经常看很多没有中文字幕的英文电影和节目。
2. Reading speed too slow阅读速度慢
Well, as for increasing reading speed, it is probably the easiest but most time-consuming thing to do.
至于提高阅读速度，这可能是最容易但最耗费时间的事情。
3. Not knowing how to answer comprehension questions不会答题技巧
To be fluent with answering comprehension questions takes time. Here, I can only tell you some methods, but the most important of all is to practice by your self.
流利地回答理解性问题需要时间。在这里，我只能告诉你一些方法，但最重要的是你自己练习。
1) read the question before you start reading the text and look for the answer while reading the text, so you have an idea of where to find the answers.
在你开始阅读文章之前先读问题，在阅读文章的同时寻找答案，这样你就知道在哪里可以找到答案。
2) look for keywords in the question and find it in the text by scanning, and the answer is usually somewhere around the keyword -- don’t have to read the whole text again and waste time.
在问题中寻找关键词，通过浏览在文章中找到它，答案通常就在关键字附近——这样不需要再读一整篇文章去浪费时间。
3) label the answer in the text after you’ve written down the answer -- easier to check.
在写下答案后，把答案在文章中标记出来，这样检查起来更容易。
4) it is really important to never copy straight from the text, first, you would lose mark if you did so; second, it is a way to prove to your teacher that you really understood the text and the question; then, it is for your own good to practice writing on your own.
不要直接照抄课文！首先，你会丢分; 第二，这是向老师证明你真正理解了课文和问题的一种方式; 而且，这是一种练习写作的好方法。
