Today I want to talk about Chinese tea.

It is well known that Chinese tea has a very long history. neighboring to Tibet and Chinese border and enjoying fertile red soil, Yunnan province played an important role in Ancient Tea Route. therefore, the topic I actually want to focus on is Puer tea. why is Puer tea ,because I am more familiar with it.

After my graduation from university in Henan province, I came to work in a hydropower station of Yunnan province and stayed most of my time in mountains, which  happens to be the ideal place of Puer tea growth. during my work time , I knew more about it and gradually cultivated a special feeling about Puer tea. Today I would like to talk about my feelings about raw tea (生茶)and ripe tea（熟茶）.

Literally, raw tea is relative to ripe tea. Some people like to drink raw tea, while other people would prefer to ripe tea. Of course, both of them have advantages and disadvantages.

For the time of preservation, raw tea can be persevered much longer than what ripe tea might be. Generally, the longer preservation time, the better the raw tea will be. But there may be a relative time limit of ripe tea .

As for the taste, you can obtain a wonderful taste immediately after production of ripe tea. If you want to get the similar taste from raw tea, you must wait at least five years later.

As for health function, raw tea can reduce your internal heat and help you behave yourself. Ripe tea is beneficial to nourishing your stomach and let you keep in a stable status.

Between the male and female, most of the male probably prefer raw tea, and the female are more likely to drink ripe tea. For people who often drink and smoke ,raw tea is a good choice .And for those who have a bad stomach, it is more suitable for them to drink ripe tea. In spring and summer, more people drink raw tea ; in autumn and winter, more people drink ripe tea.

For me, more often I drink raw tea rather than ripe tea. In the process of drinking raw tea , I can enjoy a kind of feeling along with the preservation of tea and precisely speaking ,the characteristic of time .
