How to be a good teacher?

When we talk about English teachers, what's in your mind promptly? Traditional? Handsome? Beautiful? Smart? Or some unbelievable punishments…

I think all of you have your own ideas. Everyone who sits here at least tends to be a teacher. So the question is what kind of teacher do you want to be?

Let me tell you a story. Sometimes we can't choose where we born. But we can choose what we can learn. Knowledge is equal for all of us. Especially in modern society. Have you found you are lazier in the college? Who can tell me why?

You don't have any pressure. You have no limits to play computer games, to have a date with a girl. It is called freedom. But you forget the most important thing. Study!

So whatever you do, at first you must study. You may ask I want to study. But I don't have a clear aim. Now let us have a review. How can we study English at the beginning. Reciting the words. Reciting the passage. Imitating the dialogue. Having a dictation. Practicing our pronunciation. That's all? No. we should know about the English culture. And try to think logically, of course in an English way.

Besides the knowledge about English, what else should we know? Pay more attention to your appearance. Beauty is everything. If you see a handsome or beautiful teacher , you will be more interested in this subject. So make yourself clean, tidy, and handsome. Learn how to make yourself shinny.

After being a knowledgeable handsome teacher, is that all for being an English teacher. Definitely no. you also should know how to be a teacher. Teacher,is the person who teach students knowledge ,tell students the way to live and answer students' questions。  Life is complex. We should know how to be a good person in the society. We should teach them how to deal with the unfair things. Also we should set the good example for them. Easy to say and hard to do. We need to have a little faith.

You need to go around, to see the world. Tell your students what is like right now. give them confidence. Tell them sometimes it's not fair and there is no what we called absolutely right.

Make your own experience value. Pass it to your students. And explore the bigger world.
