When I was younger, I used to make friends with someone who is easy to get along with. Such friends make me feel comfortable. You share the same interests and hobbies, you cherish the same ideals and beliefs, and You never get into a fight.
For a long time, I kept myself within this comfort zone. It was not until one day, While I was reading a funny book , an idea flashed across my mind. "there are so many different kinds of people out there, wouldn't it be fun if I get to know someone totally different from me?"
Then I started to meet different people, make new friends. It really refreshed me. Obviously, we have different views on the same topic, we look at the same problem with different perspectives. Sometimes, we even argue over simple questions like which color is more attractive. Despite of all the differences between us, we have a good time sharing funny stories, talking about current affairs ,or simply taking a walk together. This really is a wonderful experience.
In the past few years, I had tried so much to avoid any conflict in my life that It never occurred to me someday I can handle it. Thanks to these devoted generous friends , I came to realize how important it is to be yourself. They bring out the inner desire at the bottom of your heart, kindly forgive you for the terrible things you've done, and they always stand by your side no matter what happens.
