更葱郁的牧场 Greener Pasture

当我审视人生的种种断言
As I go through life 's many protestations
我敢大胆地说
I dare venture to say
随着年龄的增长
My knowledge increases exponentially
我的知识成倍增长
With every decade I age
年轻的生命在追寻更葱郁的牧场
Young life is chasing greener pastures
而年迈的生命则在寻找一成不变的牧场
Old life is finding a pasture that will not change
我们永远无法完全摆脱这样的幻想
We can never fully escape
在另一个遥远的牧场
The illusion that grass is greener
牧草更青葱生命更旺盛.
In a distant pasture so brilliantly lush
现在
For now
我正当年少
I am young
精力旺盛
With rubber to burn
当我精疲力竭
When I am worm out
仍有时间重塑自我
There's still time to rebuild
继续学习
And learn
当我光芒熄去
When my light is extinguished
留下的面包屑
Know that I existed
也将证明我存在过
By these bread crumbs I leave behind
我的足迹变成文字
Words in the shape of my steps .
指引好奇的你去探寻
Offer guidance to the curious few
看到我为你写下的诗句
Do not question my intent
不要质疑我的意图
When my words were witten for you
你要独自选择
A new road map that is your own
属于自己的全新路线图
For you to choose alone
