On Stuart’s way to look for Margalo he meets a man, the Superintendent of schools in the town. The man is troubled by finding a substitute for the sick teacher. Stuart suggests he will be glad to take the teacher’s place for a day. At length all the students get immense  pleasure from his class and wish he can be their teacher.
