Today in the class meeting, I have promised my students to write teaching reflection everyday, so I have to keep the promise to set a Good example for them.
Reflection on the theme class meeting “making learning a habit”：
- More efforts should be made to plan this meeting. For example, at first I asked He Muze to direct a scenario, but I didn't told him the requirements and the outline and aim of this scenario. As a result, at first he just designed a part about scene in class.
In fact, my aim is to show their different performances in one day in order to show how important to develop a good learning habit. Secondly, I forget to ask the host to interact with the audience. - It is important to design an clear outline at first instead of taking action immediately. It is the first time I have organized a formal class meeting, so I have no experience in it. I searched a lot of information on the Internet, but it is hard for me to develop my own idea and plan, since I was just busy searching materials instead of thinking deeply on my own.
- More opportunities should be given to students to exercise and experience. In fact, most of the work on preparing this class meeting was done by me. The speech draft of the host and the speakers are written by me, so they can not express their opinions. Next time i just train them how to prepare, and the concrete jobs should be delivered to them.
