Although Joe Biden, during his long career in politics, stood out as an inveterate drug warrior and law enforcement booster, there is still a gleaming hope of bringing more diversity to the federal bench as his team is looking for judges whose experience includes battling the government in court. If the judges in government court mostly come from prosecutors background who used to represent the government, it’s unfair to individual litigants and a bad look for the justice system. The federal courts need layers who used to challenge the government in court to bring the government in court into balance.
