The city of Xiamen extended the lockdown status for 1 more weeks. Life in the quarantine days will go on. We can’t change anything outside there. Because those are things that are out of out control. But we can control our mind. As well as our thoughts and feelings about what is going on. A morning routine helps me practice many things, such as training to be more mindful through meditation, expressing thoughts and emotions by writing a morning page, or simply getting up early thanks to a healthy routine. Also, with a morning routine, I could start a new day in a positive way. Even during this period of lockdown. Go to the rooftop to water the plants. The weather is so cool and pleasant. Autumn has come? My family grows a variety of vegetables at home. Such as mugwort (wormwood), morning glory, Malabar spinach, perilla. They are days when we run out of vegetables but we don’t have to go out to buy. Because we already we have home veggies. Watering twice a day, early morning and late afternoon. No need to water the plants on a rainy day. A light breakfast of porridge with an extra egg. After breakfast, I prepare for lunch.
