If you ask me to list some heroes and heroines, I would probably name some of following: George Washington, Martin Luther King and so on.They are real heroes without any debate, but if I were required to list people who are admired, I might come up with an entirely different list. They are admired by some people, but others hate them. They are not famous and even ordinary, but they are the heroes in my heart.
Now I want to introduce Yuan Wenyi, the one I admire who is a reporter from Shanghai Dragon TV. Yuan is a normal person as she is just a normal reporter in China, and she is special because of her behavior-- Yuan is a war correspondent. She spends more than 2 years on the battlefield.
In April 2011, Yuan requested to enter Libya where a cruel war broke out. Yuan is a normal person as she is just a normal reporter in China, and she is special because of her courage -- Yuan is a war correspondent. But with the help of Yuan's enthusiasm and courage, her boss compromised. Yuan became the first woman in Dragon TV went into the battlefield. "I just want to report the truth, not to live up to the history. " On the battlefield, the coward would surely lie down and curl up, but Yuan stayed at Libya for 119 days.The bomb exploded right behind her, and destroyed almost everything around it.Helpless as she was, Yuan didn't give in, instead, she went to other wars. She is a brave woman!
Great as Yuan is, however, some people think she is militant because she is willing to enter the battlefields.They hold the view that women should stay at home and take care of their families rather than do these dangerous things. And some think she works hard just for money and a promotion opportunity.But in fact, money and status are useless on the battlefield, Yuan contributes herself to her job because she loves it and she wants to pursue her dream. Everyone has a dream, and everyone have a right to pursue it regardless of woman and man.
In conclusion, due to her outstanding contribution and hard work, Yuan has distinguished herself as a famous reporter. In my mind, Yuan is the greatest woman that I want to be someone like her.
