Last Tuesday in the swimming pool I came across an elderly woman, who swam slowly and had a very unpleasant smell. I guessed that the smell was from the perfume or the body powder she used.
I couldn’t stand the smell, so I had to change a lane from the slow speed one to the middle speed one.
Today when I walked into the changing room I caught the odour again. I knew the elderly woman was here. So this time when I started to swim I immediately chose the middle lane. Unfortunately even then I couldn’t escape the smell and felt uncomfortable.
Sometimes to avoid it I had to swim very fast, which caused the symptoms of low sugar for me and I struggled to reach my swimming goal. After the swim I had to eat a piece of chocolate and I felt my exercise time was wasted.
I think we need to be reasonable or have some common sense when we wear a perfume or apply a body powder.
