Perhaps the mostextraordinary building of the nineteenthcenturywas the Crystal Palace, which was built in Hyde Park for the Great Exhibitionof 1851. The Crystal Palace was different from all other buildings in theworld, for it was made of iron andglass. It was one of the biggest buildings of all timeand a lot of people from manycountriescame to see it. A greatmany goods were sent to the exhibition from various parts of the world. Therewas also a great deal of machinery on display. The most wonderful piece ofmachinery on show was Nasmyth's steam hammer. Though in those days, travelingwasnotas easy as it is today, steam boatscarried thousands of visitors across the Channel from Europe. On arriving inEngland, they were taken to the Crystal Palace by train. There were sixmillionvisitors in all, and the profits from theexhibition were used to build museums and colleges. Later, the Crystal Palacewas moved to South London. Itremainedone ofthe most famous buildings in the world until it was burnt down in 1936.

（1）最近做复述越来越有感觉了，很多时候会突然冒出来一些灵感，我想持续做下去会更好吧，感觉又突破了觉得做复述很难的一个瓶颈期，但是按经验来讲，很快又会有另一个瓶颈期到来；
（2）今天开始跟着0.6倍的变速音频练习，时间上确实保证不了了，但对我来说，当下的阶段重要的是要抓细节，然后读准每一个音，速度先不管了吧；
（3）感觉用口腔后部，把气流掌握好还是很难，至少很费劲儿，最近觉得稍微读一会就会上气不接下气呢，看来越学下去，朗读越变成了一项体力活。
