Do you agree or disagree with the statement that teachers should make theirs lessons fun? I’d like to air my views on this topic.
From my experiences, a good teacher depends on his positive attitude with strong professed knowledges and wisdom teaching methods. If a professed teacher’s lesson can satisfy the demand of his students’ fun, it’s a good thing for students. The learner not only study more useful knowledge from the teacher, but also make the students have a good interesting to the course.
I had experienced many types of teachers from childhood to now. Some of them were fun and I also enjoyed their teaching style, but I also met few negative teachers I didn’t like. For example, this year our company hired a foreign teacher improving our English level. The teacher often kept quietly during the course. it seemed he gave us course without any preparation. I tended to think that his course was too random to make us interesting. Three months later, another foreign teacher replaced his working. This teacher looked more specialty than the first. She always kept on smile and prepared some interested topics to discuss with us for effective practice. For our pronunciation or writing problem, she also gave us some advice in time. So, her teaching methods was accepted quickly by us.
During my high school, our physic teacher was very strict. If someone had any bad habits not to pay more attention to his course, he would discipline him with the rod. So, we often felt fear due to his rod and most of us could study carefully under his teaching. Almost no one dared to escape his lessons randomly. Because of the teacher’s strict discipline, we had a good performance compared with other subjects. Twenty years ago, our parents strongly appreciated his special teaching method like this.
However, with time, nowadays this type of teacher has been less. There are many teachers lack of responsibility. Sometimes, teacher’s negative behaviors are from the parents’ attitude, because some parents don’t allow teachers teaching the students strictly. Even some parents appealed to the court due to some case that teachers criticize students. We can see some parents spoil their children to make some children sent to prison due to big sins.
In a word, we all know that few teachers concern the trainers’ learning status when we work in social. If there is a teacher spending more energy to his students, parents should cherish the teacher’s hard working.
