Hello everyone, today I would like to recommend a movie to you, my favorite movie in 2023, its name is Flipped, is about two teenagers' love story, which also contains a lot of life philosophy, I think I learnt a lot from this movie. Before i watched this movie, I thought it was a touching, but traditional and boring love story, so I don't have any expectation from movie. But to my surprise, I was attracted by this movie in the first five minutes. I like the way the film was told. From the perspective of the boy, we can know a lot of the boy's inner thoughts which is very detailed. like, how does he think about the girl, why he doesnt like the girl. and from the girl's perspective, we can know a completely different view, which can help us know the charactor.
The plot that impressed me most was when the father asked the girl "Why do you like that boy?" "Because he has beautiful eyes," said the girl. Then. Dad told her that people can not only look at the part, we should look at the whole. Just like a painting, the beauty of the whole is greater than the beauty of the parts. Then the girl start to reflect, and then she found that the boy was not worthy of her liking, because in addition to his beautiful eyes, he was a coward in other aspects, dishonest,he's not good in a whole , not worthy of her liking at all. I think she grew up, and I grew up too.
the beauty of the whole is greater than the beauty of the parts. Sometimes we may overlook a person's overall good because of a small bad part; and sometimes we may exaggerate a person's partial good and overlook his overall bad. This may cause us to miss out on the truly wonderful people.
Have you watched this movie? and how do you think of this movie? Tell me!!
