Bai people like white and take white as honourable, so the main color of national dress of Bai people is white, white pants, white cap, Bai girls wear headwear on their heads. Because on the headdress of Bai girls, the shape of dropping ears represent the wind of Xiaguan, the gorgeous flowers are the flowers of Shangguan,the white cap is the snow of Cangshan, and the curved shape is the moon of Erhai. Therefore, the appearance of their headdress is now formed. In short, Bai girls headwear not only beautiful,but also attractive, and it is symbolically for Bai people.
When I was a little girl, my grandmother bought two sets of national costume for me and my younger sister. I'm one year older than her. I still remembered that we went out with my grandma and were dressed in the same national costume. We looked alike and we had the same figure, plus we wear the same clothes. Some people always asked my grandmother whether we are twins.
our village had become a tourist village when I was a young children. So there were many visitors to go sightseeing. Once a tourist asked my grandma if she could take a picture of my sister and me, my grandmother agreed happily and the visitor said that our costumes were very beautiful and gorgeous.
At present, I am studying at Yunnan Minzu University. It is a university of nationalities, so you will see all kinds of costumes of Bai people.Of course, I also have a set of national costume. Every time I take part in various national activities organized by the school, I will wear national costume. In general, I am proud of my nationality and I am very glad that I am a Bai people. I will always love my people.
