Throughout these Daily Market Colours, we have constantly emphasisedthe importance of the 5.8k support level in BTCUSD, currently roughly 6k inBTCUSDT. The further inability of BTCUSDT to test 6k after the break wastelling; a very bearish event when we are unable to quickly retest such astrong support-turned-resistance. The sell-off to 4.4k, where BTCUSDT currentlytrades at, was on the back of relatively low volume. The quick sell-off overMonday and Tuesday is a positive sign for bulls – the high volatility is muchmore preferred than a slow grind. We usually don’t post recommendations in theDMC, but we see a bottom here in this range between 4k and 4.5k and expect tosee BTCUSDT retest the 5-5.5k range where we saw very little volume on the waydown.
ETHBTC appears to be the weakest of the major altcoins, trading at0.0285. Its yearly low was back in mid-September when it hit 0.0270. XRPBTC isthe strongest, trading up from 9k sats on Monday to 10k sats on Tuesday andmaintain a 9700 sat price since then. EOSBTC and LTCBTC have remained steady,at 81.5k sats and 0.0073 respectively.
