The 21st century is a growing season for net economy. The net economy takes the form of doing business online. Most companies have a hand in the net economy and thus transfer their great trading halls to the net.
In the net economy, people perform lots of functions online such as forwarding payment, credit financing, insurance underwriting and so on. Besides, people often work at home and that’s what is known today as SOHO. Virtual stores online can sell products to customers wherever they are in the world. What’s more, financial corporations and financial institutions are beyond their origins and they can meet various financial needs and deal with new financial matters.
In the age of net economy, people live a fast paced and convenient life. The whole world develops more rapidly than before. However, the net economy has its disadvantages. For one thing, cheating has become a common practice and some illegal websites offer cheap and banned goods or services. For another, some people may be addicted to online shopping and they may find it hard to have savings deposits even if they have built up personal savings accounts.
In the net economy, people should learn how to buy, not what to buy, which does not mean to reduce the demand for consumer goods and daily expenses. In short, people need to be selective when buying online.
