It’s the last day of the weekend, as planned, I went to school for lunch and then stayed at the library for the afternoon.
The load of last week’s courses is heavy for me, which caused me a little anxious these days, especially when I hung out. That’s why I decided to study in the library on the weekend.
After sitting at library today, the first thing I did was to write a list of what I need to finish in the following days, and highlight some important deadlines. This approach is very useful for me, which was learned from my work experience. The list will apparently show what’s more important and what could be put in a lower priority. Most importantly, every time when I finish one of the list, I will tick it as done, which is the most proud part and then encourage me to achieve the next one. So I love this way, and if getting lost in my targets, I will sit down quietly and make the list.
The biggest part of the list I made today is to finish the assignment of FE. On the course, I had no idea about what the lecture was saying, and today when I try to do the assignment but failed to understand the questions, I knew I need to set this as the highest priority in order to finish the assignment on time and also to get rid of my personal anxiety.
In order to do it, from my own study habit, reading over the book first will be helpful. Then I downloaded the E-book online and dived into it. With two hours, I finished less than 30 pages, which indeed helped me master the fundamental knowledge of Investment Science so as to solve some puzzles from the last course. It requires more time to read the book of the whole points that the lecture gave us in the last class, so I will focus on it and finish it as soon as possible, and of course, the final goal is to solve the assignment.
Feeling happy about my decision to study in the library today and also cancel the plan to climb a mountain tomorrow, I think it’s good, because it’s the right determination, I should solve academic issues first and then to concern about entertainment.
