To tell this story, we must take a leap back three years when I was in grade two.
when I came to the school, my first English class felt very different from the English class I had before
my English teacher didn't start by teaching us words. she started with music. at first I didn't understand the song well. but I was not serious. Slowly,English sounds began to Attract me.
by grade three. I notice something new. I have started to love English songs.English songs always immerse me in them. Enjoy how the author expresses his emotions.I also like the rock music, which sounds very exciting,I learned songs myself, sometimes my sister helps. We are all good at English.
But English is not only about songs. I also love stories and movies. Every semester we act an English play,in grade three, we act Bambi and Peter Pan.in grade four, we act the lion king and Alice in wonderland. In grade five we act the Kung Fu Panda. It was hard but very interesting.
During the holidays, I watched Kung Fu Panda many times. after got the script, I chose the role I want. I read the lines again and again. after reading the script about 10 times, I could read it fluently and memorizing became much easier.
When I practice with jury I almost want to give up the role of po,but he Encourage me to continue. We had Conflicts. like Mars hitting the earth. But it didn't matter. he talked carefully and learn Seriously, And in the end we show our best performance on the stage.
So how was my performance? To be honest, I didn't really know. At first I thought I couldn't finish the task but when I fell on stage I feel like real falling from A fake fall to real one.
I like reading too. First, teacher told us stories. Then my mom said we have some English story at home, just like The magic tree house and Harry Potter. I first read them I thought it was very difficult. So my mom let me read some easier stories.Then I found that the Magic Tree House Became easier For me.
I also read English magazines. I knew all the news about China or other countries. They are interesting.There are also some magazines of Animals.there are some magazine about baby pandas birth. I have seen the picture in the magazines. I think the baby pandas are very cute.They are also magazines about movies.
During the summer holiday, I even learned English Beyond my grade level my sister taught me like a real teacher. She helps me with words songs and movies. We even sang songs. We even sang songs from Hamilton together and send them to my teacher,during that holiday My sister is my English teacher.
