Be aware of the body language

Use eye-contact, facial expressions and TPR, help to express meaning, useTPR to get quick response from students

Use of humor

use joking, funny lead-in and interesting games to attract students' attention： magic box/  pretend to be  sb else…

Use voice effectively

use games like: can you hear me?(strong to weak)/ pass the secret(low voice)

manage students rules /arouse their attention  — loud to quiet voice/songs, keep silent if they are too noisy…

Set the context

Get students to know what, when and how to use the language. Connect the knowledge with students' real lives. Set the classroom like a restaurant, act and use the language like customer and waiter/ Prepare some materials to help your explaining/ story telling /use video
