Snapchat is themost popular social app nowadays within teenagers aged from 15 to 25.
As a social app,it’s initial viral growth in user population is just in the way that’s nodifferent than other social apps, using user’s basic physiological need forsexual instinct.
Here’s theanalytical attributes of snapchat:
1.Mostunique feature of Snapchat is that it’s messages would all be deleted rightafter read by default. This function is used for sending messages that onedoesn’t want either the recipient to keep record of it or others like parentswho might check this phone to see any record on it. Users get much benefit fromthis function in “sexting”, because they finally find an app that doesn’t keeprecord of their flirting messages so that they can send more of these messageswithout any scruples. Just like Facebook was a ranking app of all femaleclassmates and the CEO ofTenCent (no.1social app in China) admitted that he and his colleagues used to registerfemale accounts on their app to talk with guys, the fifth level in Maslow'shierarchy of needs—physiological needs is really useful in gaining users forany social apps.
2.Secondfeature is the filters in Snapchat’s camera. This is used for taking selfies, which is quite a need for all the teenagers. They benefit from this by thosefilters making them look much more adorable so that they look better one socialmedia.
3.Aftera few years, Snapchat came up with a new function, stories. Compared with theposts users post on other social media like Facebook or Twitter that would staythere forever, the posts in Snapchat’s stories would disappear within 24 hours.Users benefit from this as they don’t need to care for their every post anymore. They don’t need to use a whole day to take some great pictures and modifywith different tools from various apps so that they can post on social media, because nothing there exist more than 24 hours.
So this is the gapthat snapchat find on the map, that no record would be saved in their socialmedia.
