In the past several years, more and more Chinese begin to celebrate Christmas. In Christmas Eve, people have dinner outside, date and go shopping. Many companies, schools and kindergartens organize activities for Christmas. Some people think it’s wrong to most of Chinese to celebrate Christmas, because they are not faithful in Christianity. Someone even said people who celebrate Christmas forget Chinese traditions cultures.

I disagree these viewpoint and think it’s very rude and arrogant. The main reason Chinese celebrate Christmas is not religion but the culture of Santa Claus. Parents send gift to their children, tell the story about the old man with white beards. Youngster go outside to enjoy their happy hour. There’s nothing related about religion.

The criticism ignores the real reason and steers to religion because someone are anxious about Chinese forgetting traditional culture. It is a big fault. People can advocate something to others, but they have no right to forbid others doing something.
