Some people believe it's essential for a person's education to learn to play a musical instrument. Others don't believe music education is important. Which view do you agree with? Explain why.
Music is very amazing, there are many different types of instruments in the world. But you don't need an interpret, because it's a universal language. A Chinese can be cheered up by piano music, and a person from western country can be comforted by Chinese zither music too.
So I think it's essential for a person's education to learn to play a musical instrument. Sometimes an instrument is like a companion.When you feel lonely, it companies you, when you are down, it cheers you up.
We all know the story of Beethoven, after he became deaf, he still composed great movement Eroica. I think it's because of strong power of music . It's his soul companion.
After expressing my opinion,Wei asked me if my son learned to play an instrument. I told her I sent him to a training class to learn to play the electric piano at his age of his 5, but only for half a year. Wei guessed it's because he didn't like it. In fact, I don't know what interested him. He ever learned drawing, tae‧kwon‧do， English too. But no one of them was last for one year. I regret for it very much. I'm not a good mother. She also talked about the experience of Learning to play the violin with another three girls when she was young. She told me the other three girls all became professors In universities. She said maybe playing the violin made them much smarter.
I agree with her. Learning an instrument really helps people a lot whatever they gain the skill or not.
