  Mention inequality in our society and what comes tomind is bias toward women, which does harm to thedevelopment of our society. Gender bias is a preference or prejudice toward one gender over theother. As women, they have received more inequalitythan that men have received. Social discrimination against women is reflected in allaspects. The greatest manifestation of this inequality isin working life. In your workforce, you may observegenderbias in many different forms and degrees.With respect to traditional jobs versus nontraditionaljobs, women are often relegated to low-paying, clerical and administrative jobs, while men are oftenplaced on career tracks that promise upward mobilityand career advancement. Secondly, language canalso reflect the discrimination against women in human history. At first glance, it would appear that gender bias is built into the English language. Rules ofgrammar once dictated that we use masculine pronouns (he, his, him, himself) whenever a singularreferent is required and we don't know the gender ofthe person we're talking about. Though this practicehas been changing, there are still some words that weuse regularly that include the feminine. Consider thefollowing examples: workmen's Compensation,mankind, chairman, man-made. What's more, increasing concern has been expressed about the roleof the formal education system in reproducing genderdifferences and inequalities. The issues that  affect girls in education include discrimination against girls inclass rooms, interaction between boys and girls, effectof gender on education and other submerged hiddencurriculum. However, with the development of society and theimprovement of women's consciousness of rights,women are beginning to gradually strive for their ownlegal rights and interests. The struggle to say no toward sexism is hard, but it cannot be abandoned.        l believe that real equality between men and women willcome about one day.
