第一题
1、半个小时是half an hour 时间逝去是 go by 这个句子应该写成过去完成时，half an hour had went by ，两个句子之间用but表转折，but后的句子应该用一般过去时，but the last bus did not come第一个句子是Half an hour had went by ，but the last bus did not come。第一个句子和第二个句子用句号隔开第二个句子和第一个句子存在因果关系，用so表示末班车没有来的结果，只好是have no choice but to ，第二个句子是so we had no choice but to walk home 。
2、前后两句存在因果关系，把因为她还没有背熟课文放在前面，这个句子用过去完成时，Because Mary has not learned text by heart ,两个句子之间用逗号隔开，看上去是look like，担心汉语考试是worry about Chinese exam 这个句子即可以是一般过去时也可以是一般现在时she looks like worrying about the Chinese exam 。
3、既然是now that， 已被推迟表示这个句子用过去完成时，第一句是Now that basketball competition had been postphoned ， 第一个句子和第二个句子之间用逗号隔开，不妨是may just as well ，第二句是we may just as well go to the museums。
4、在…期间是during，二次世界大战是专有名词the Second World War，第一句是During the Second World War，第二句时态是一般过去时，两个句子之间用逗号隔开，第二句是he lived with his parents in Australia all the way。
5、自从是since ，从…毕业是graduate from ，第一句是Since I graduated from Nanjing University in 1985，第一句和第二句之间用逗号连接，可以说是I can say ，与某人失去联系是lose tough with sb，第二个句子用过去完成时，第二个句子是I could say I have kind of lost tough with my university classmates 。
第二题
打算做事intend to do ，这样那样的事all kinds of things ，抽不出空have no time ，记挂着on one'mind，努力做try one's best to do ，保持通信联系keep up correspondence，这一段话可以用一般过去时或者一般现在时。
I intend to write to them，but there are all kinds of things to do. It just does not have no time. Howevre，they are still on my mind ，I think I will try my best to keep up correspondence with them.
