四川省造光绪元宝库平七钱二分银币，1898年即清朝光绪二十四年四川省银元局开铸此币。银币正面珠圈内镌满汉文“光绪元宝”四字，珠圈外上端镌汉文“四川省造”四字，下端镌汉文“库平七钱二分”六个字，左右两侧各镌一个四花星。银币背面中央镌蟠龙图，上端环镌英文“四川省”，下端环镌英文币值“库平七钱二分”，左右两端各镌一个四花星。
此币属无刺龙罕见币种，文字笔划和纹饰线条圆滚，精到鲜明，模具冲压着力深打，致其品相精美无比，显示其铸造工艺水准的高超。钱币正面可见满汉文化的融合，而钱背却明确标示了西方文化的介入。此币品相精致，审美风格独持，正反面皆呈五彩包浆，字口深打清晰俊美（应是大书法家吴大澄的字），底板光滑如镜，背面龙鳞清晰，龙头比较大，蟠龙鳞甲别致完美，如颗颗珍珠，故又名“珍珠龙”。1898年正逢戊戌变法，清廷风雨飘摇，正思虑着变革图强，此币承载着当时的历史，也是见证和研究巴蜀历史文化难得的实物，具有极高的投资收藏价值。
