Part 1：外币兑换干货
exchange rate = 兑换汇率
fluctuate = 上下浮动
名词形式：fluctuation
a favourable exchange rate = 优惠的兑换汇率
Typically it's sufficient for you to exchange around 3,000 RMB for a short vacation.
一般兑换3000元人民币的等值外币即可。
If the rate for your home currency is falling,you're better off exchanging almost everything you'll need before you go.
如果你发现人民币处于跌势，那你最好早早在出游前换好钱。
rule of the thumb = 拇指法则，经验之谈
For example:
Journalists have a rule of thumb:the more a person knows,the more that person can learn.
Identification = 身份证明
do：表示强调
"You should have warned me."
"But I did warn you."
1.国内银行
The easiest place to exchange currency is a bank in your home country.
upside = 利
downside = 弊
For example:
The upside of exchanging currency in banks is that most banks will charge either a very small fee or no fee at all.
precaution = 预防
a wasted trip = 白跑一趟
2.境外ATM机
You need to pay for ATM fees,but they're wihin a reasonable range.
ATM fee = 自动取款机手续费
refund = 退款
ask for a refund/demand a refund = 要求退款

Part 2：如何在国外兑换外币
询问是否可以外币兑换：
1.Can foreign currency be exchanged here?
2.Can I change foreign currency here?

change/convert A in to B = 将A币种换成B币种
Could you change these US dollars for me?
询问汇率
What's the exchange rate?
What's the rate of exchange?
What is the rate you are giving?
回复：
1.It's 6.6 RMB to 1 US dollar.
2.Well,today's exchange rate is 6.6 RMB to the dollar.
3.The current exchange rate is 6.6 to the dollar.
Part 3：旅途中的财产安全指南
Tip 1:Never carry all of your cash in your wallet.
stash = 贮藏处
multi-stash method = 分散贮藏的方法
companion = 同伴
in all likelihood = 十有八九
withdraw = 取钱
常用搭配：withdraw sth. from sth.
For example:
I all likelihood,there are ATMs near your hotel or resort,which alleviates the need to withdraw all of your vacation money at once.
Tip 2:Keep your cash out of sight.
attract sb's attention = 吸引某人的注意力
类似的表达：get/catch sb's attention
Tip 3:Pay for items and services with your card when you can.
If you lost your card during the trip,report the incident immediately.
如果你不幸在旅途中弄丢了信用卡，一定要尽快报失。
catch = 隐患、陷阱
For example:
The catch is,you need to an Apple product,like an iPhone or iPad to use Apple Pay.
