C46365-Day2-C46365---Day2---New Hampshire towns turn out tiny-home dwellers

Residents of the “tiny house” community known as Walden Eco- Village in Peterborough, New Hampshire, were evicted on December 25 by the city because their houses violated building codes and were unsafe. At present, the residents of the eco village are in a very bad situation. The local fire department forced the residents to move out in winter because of violations, the former tenant of Walden lake is now suing the owner of the village, claiming that he violated their lease and rented out substandard housing. Tiny house is an attractive and affordable choice for most people, but the pursuit of quality housing by there gulatory authorities means that many residents eventually have no housing.
