The tiny-home dwellers were evicted by New Hampshire’s government. Regarding building code violations, officials claimed that diminutive dwellings were not permitted as full-time residence. In this sense, a “tiny house” community facing the mid-winter eviction for the reason that they lacked the occupancy permit while there is no building code for tiny houses. Like catch-22, this is a cycle that feeds into itself. The cycle caught lawmakers’ eyes. Though state legislators try to address it, tiny-house residents still be homeless because of the regulatory pursuit of quality housing.
