Today I learned a few things below:
1, The whole process of G speaking made me feel ahead of time the scene of each of us stand in front of God and accept His judgment in the future. Yes, who can stand when such a holy G speaks?!! We are all sinners. We are so limited and imperfect, and stand in front of such a holy G, there is really nothing to do but shut up and feel ashamed.
"The Lord said to Job: “Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses G answer him!” Then Job answered the Lord: “I am unworthy—how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth. I spoke once, but I have no answer— twice, but I will say no more.” - Job 40:1-5
2, When G speaks, it makes people feel so humble and soft from the depths of hearts. At the same time, it also gives people such a profound and real experience of who G is. As Job said from his heart below, My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Only through real experiences with G can have such inner amazement like this. It is a big fortunate and grateful thing to have G walking with in life.
"Then Job replied to the Lord: “I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted. You asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. “You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak; I will question you, and you shall answer me.’My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.” - Job 42:1-6
3, When G speaks, there is judgment, as well as redemption and grace. Here, the Old Testament uses burnt offering for sins. We are now through the blood of Chri Jes. Here, we also see that G clearly makes us aware of our own mistakes and sins. At the same time, give us such a clear way and steps to obtain redemption. No matter how limited and imperfect we may be, there is always a way out and grace in G.
After the Lord had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has. So now take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.” So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite did what the Lord told them; and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer." - Job 42:7-9
4, When G speaks, full of blessings and grace. G blessed Job more than before.
"After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before. The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys. And he also had seven sons and three daughters." - Job 42:10-13
5, Through G's perspective, I once again see that women as men are descendants of inheritance. Women are such blessed abundantly by G, not only created to be beautiful like flowers, but also inheritors of wealth. The wealth here are not only material, but also spiritual, moral, character and cultural.
"Nowhere in all the land were there found women as beautiful as Job’s daughters, and their father granted them an inheritance along with their brothers." - Job 42:15
