2. initiative
An initiative is an importance act or statement that is intended to solve a problem.
e.g. There's talk of a new peace initiative.
e.g. Government initiative to help young people have been inadequate.

If one thing or person resembles another, they are similar to each other.
e.g. She so resembles her mothers.
e.g. Some of the commercially produced venison resembles beef in flavour.
