翻译中有一些是自己的理解,不对的地方大家多多指正。

图2中关于网络(位置)描述列中的架构呈现模式是“节点-连接-节点”。

从范围呈现(ballpark)的角度来看,一般呈现形式为业务运营的地点列表。这里,“节点”将意味着业务位置,可以是个抽象的位置,但并不会说明该位置的具体细节。这些位置可以分布在地图或不同的地理位置。它们之间的连线主要是表明地点之间的通信或物流连接。网络(位置)描述的范围呈现的主要目的是支撑决策者,选择系统(硬件/软件)实际的部署位置。
From the scope description (ballpark)perspective, what could be expected is a list of locations in which thebusiness operates. Therefore, “node” would mean business location, likely at ahigh level of aggregation, that is, showing little detail about the “contents”of the location. The locations might even be arranged on a map, a geographicalconstruct. If lines were shown, they would probably merely indicate where thereare communications or logistics connections between the locations. The purposeserved, once again, is the strategy/resource investment decision in which themain decision is to select the subset of locations in which to actually locatetechnology (hardware/software).
