Day 124 S解读论语之Day 108
9.11 颜渊喟然叹曰①:“仰之弥高②，钻之弥坚，瞻之在前，忽焉在后。夫子循循然善诱人③，博我以文，约我以礼，欲罢不能。既竭吾才，如有所立卓尔④。虽欲从之，末由也已⑤。”
【注释】
①喟(kuì)然：叹气的样子。
②弥：更加，越发。
③循循然：有步骤地。
④卓尔：高高直立的样子。尔，相当于“然''。
⑤末：无。
【翻译】
颜渊感叹地说：“我的老师啊，他的学问道德，抬头仰望，越望越觉得高；努力钻研，越钻研越觉得深。看着好像在前面，忽然又像在后面了。老师善于有步骤地引导我们，用各种文献来丰富我们的知识，用礼来约束我们的行为，我们想要停止学习都不可能。我已经用尽自己的才力，似乎有一个高高的东西立在我的前面。虽然我想要追随上去，却找不到可循的路径。”
【解读】
1，好的老师是给予学生希望，而不仅仅是知识。
2，颜渊对于孔子无疑是崇拜的，但是我读颜渊这段话感觉，孔子的教育有点太“高”，让学生“够不着”，看不到头。
无论家长还是老师，我们更多的是托举孩子，让他们比我们更强更优秀，而不是一味的彰显自己有多厉害，自己太厉害了，孩子有时会觉得自己怎么多都不对，然后就放弃了。
3，适当的示弱，更能激发孩子的自信心和责任感。
Yen Yuan, in admiration of the Master's doctrines, sighed and said," I looked up to them, and they seemed to become higer; I treid to penetrate them, and they seemed to become firmer; I looked at them before me, and suddently they seemed to be behind.
The Master , by orderly method, skifully leads men on. He enlarged my mind with learning, and taught me the restraints of propriety.
When I wish to give over the study of his doctrines, I cannot do so, and having exerted all my ability, there seems something to stand right up before me; but though I wish to follow and lay hold of it, I really find no way to do so.
