有幸得一教授相邀，进得他创建的群。前日先生发了托马斯•纳什（伊丽莎白一世时期“大学才子”之一）的名诗《Spring》及郭沫若、屠岸、何老先生本人的译版到群里。这个群，大学教授居多，每周译一诗已形成定规。笔者参与不多，恰逢这二日闲暇稍多，便也来凑个热闹。
各位教授的译版可谓异彩纷呈，但限于篇幅，只纳入何先生发出的三个译版。
原诗：

Spring, the sweet Spring, is the year’s pleasant king;
Then blooms each thing, then maids dance in a ring,
Cold doth not sting, the pretty birds do sing,
Cuckoo, jug-jug, pu-we, to-witta-woo!
The palm and may make country houses gay,
Lambs frisk and play, the shepherds pipe all day,
And we hear aye birds tune this merry lay,

The fields breathe sweet, the daisies kiss our feet,
Young lovers meet, old wives a-sunning sit,
In every street these tunes our ears do greet,

羊羔嬉游，牧笛儿整日在吹奏，
百鸟总在和鸣，一片悠扬声韵，

杨柳枝，五月花，把村舍点缀得多好看，
羊羔子蹦跳着去游玩，牧羊娃整天吹芦管，
我们老是听见，鸟儿快乐地叫唤……

田野散发芳香，雏菊吻我们的脚帮，
年轻姑娘会情郎，老婆婆坐着向太阳，
得每条街道上，我们都听到这歌唱……
