Effective Leadership
1.Definition
(1)Term
An exercise in language that results in a created future
that the leader and those being led come to live into,
which future gives them being and action in the present,
that results in the realisation of a future
which future fulfills (or contributes to fulfilling) the concerns of the relevant parties,
including critically those who granted the leadership (those who lead you and those you lead).
领导力一直是西方很火热的一个名词,非常政治正确。课上给的定义其实就是要有梦,让团队的人感受到梦。好的领导力让人能活着有劲,愿意打拼,坏的领导力让人清楚的感觉到领导在画饼。
其实相对于领导力而言,我更关心followership。虽然人人愿意做leader,但事实是这个世界远远不需要那么多leader,更需要懂得协作的follower。没有人的角色是单纯的leader,相比于空虚的leadership,这个时代可能更要脚踏实地的学习followership。

A realm of possibility
in which when you are being a leader
all possible ways of being are available to you,
and when you are exercising leadership
all possible actions are available to you.
领导力不是指挥他人,更不是高高在上。相反,好的领导力是让人觉察不到指挥的,而是把功课做在事前,思考清楚大多数的可能性,引导团队成员自愿的向着一个更合理的方向前进。

To create a created future, leading involves using language
that brings something into existence, creates or brings forth a world.
领导力也包括感染力,感染力中很重要的是人格魅力。这也是当今创业企业强调的故事力的根基。
2.Foundations
(1)Being a person of integrity
integrity是领导力的基石,人格魅力建立在其上。背后很可能是当今非常火热的词——信任,什么最贵?信任。有了信任,生意会很容易做。但信任最难建立,却最容易打破。
(2)Something greater than oneself
是否真心实意的care其他人,care手头在做的事。
care其他人,用真心能换得真心,场面上的逢迎和虚与委蛇总会过去,真正的感情不能用这些东西维系;
care手头在做的事,工匠精神就是一个很好的例子,产品也好作品也罢,其实都是传递作者感情的媒介。
尊重他人,不拿别人当傻子,才是聪明人。
