Day 9
释义:v. to turn something upside down
例句:
1-Taobao has upended the Chinese retail market.
2-The internet has upended industries, from entertainment to retailing.
3-Tesla, an electric-car manufacturer, has upended the traditional auto industry.
4-Didi Chuxing, a ride-hailing service in China, has upended the taxi business.
→Science and technology have upended publishing.(参考翻译) Technology has upended the publishing industry. )
在维基百科中的解释是: the dissemination of literature, music, or information—the activity of making information available to the general public.
Publishing is now a major industry."
(Less is more.) Phenomenal English has upended the way I learn language.
