形容词性从句（一个句子做了形容词的功能就叫做形容词性从句）--定语从句

形容词

修饰人：who, whom, whose

This is the man who saved my life.
（做主语）
This is the man whom I saved.
（做宾语）
This is the man whose life was saved by me.
(翻译为xxx的)

修饰物：that, which, as

This is the book that I read.
This is the book which is very popular.
You always work hard, as everybody knows.
(as 代表整件事)
补充：1.介词，逗号后通常用which.
2.限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句
I like the girl who is beautiful.
我喜欢这个漂亮的女孩。
I like the girl, who is beautiful.
我喜欢这个女孩，因为她漂亮。
（没逗号时翻译为一句话，有逗号翻译为两句话通
常表原因）
3.当way和time做先行词时，关系词常常省略。
The way he explained to us is quite simple.
This is the first time I come here .

另类形容词 关系副词(when where why)

I can never forget the day when I met her.
I can never forget the place where I met her.
I can never forget the reason why she dumped me.
(从句完整，表示时间，地点，原因)
