CH8 Coming to terms with an Author

1. ambiguous

Coming to terms with an Author
In this chapter, the author states why readers should come to terms with the author, the definition of terms, why the readers have to find key words and how to find key words.
Language is imperfect as a medium for conveying knowledge, therefore, in some way, it functions as an obstacle to communication.To come to terms with the author, you must spot the important words in a book and figure out how the author is using them.The rule5 here is to overcome this obstacle.
Rule 5. find the important words and through them come to terms with the author.
Not all the words an author uses are important. Only those words that he used in a special way are important for him. The most important words are those give you trouble.
You need to find the key words and find the meanings of those words from context.
感悟：
作者问：如何找到关键的意思？
答案是：从书中你理解的部分找答案。
知识的建立是用已知的知识建立新知识，理解力也是逐步建立的，用已知的理解力建立新的理解力。
如果想知道作者书中某个关键词的意思，查字典是解决不了问题的，你只能从书中的到答案。
当我们读原版书的时候，由于语言的关系，我们会碰到生词。生词和关键词是不同的，但是，解决方法是类似的。碰到生词的时候，不必着急马上查字典，因为通过阅读后面的篇章，你也许会猜出生词的意思。

中文译本中的译文是：
这个句子的主干是：The reader is headed for disaster.是说这样的阅读者会走向失败。
而不是说这个字会带来麻烦。
