和Mr. Tan约的这两天要聊一下课题的,但是他太忙了,其实我也没有准备好,分析数据,总是有点着急,需要反复折腾。最近听开言英语,有个主题倒是吸引了我“Are you busy or productive”。感觉还蛮符合我的实际情况的,效率太低。摘录一下:
Busy people dose not always mean productive.
Ten differences between busy and productive people:
-
Priorities
Productive people just focus on just a few priorities, while busy people chase after too many priorities. -
Multitask
Productive people do one task at a time, but busy people try to multitask which causes distraction. -
The big picture
Productive people concentrate on the big picture, but busy people get lost in unimportant details. -
Delegate
Productive delegate tasks to other people, but busy people take on too many responsibilities. -
Reflect and Plan
Productive people set aside time to plan ahead, whereas busy people jump right in without necessary preparations. -
To do list
Productive people check things off their to-do lists, while busy people just have endless lists. -
Distractions
Productive people do not let anyone distract them.Turn off the phone to be more productive. -
Goals
Productive people set realistic/specific goals while busy people think they can take on unrealistic goals. -
Quality over quantity
Productive people actually value quality over quantity but busy people think that more is better. -
Result-oriented
Productive people let result speak for themselves but busy people like to brag about how busy they are.
