This week I read next two parts of the book for my sixth blog...Here are my answers:
Respond #1: What is these sections about?
In this part, Haw came to realize that fear would only make things worse and that he should stop thinking about it and move on. He felt motivated and hopeful, and he understood that "WHEN YOU STOP BEING AFRAID, YOU FEEL GOOD!" As he moved into the new area, Haw felt happy to get over his fear and go on an adventure. He began to imagine himself with cheese and wrote "IMAGINING YOURSELF ENJOYING YOUR NEW CHEESE LEADS YOU TO IT "on the wall.
Respond #2: What does these sections mean for you? Give a story from your life.
To me, this part reveals the truth that only when we overcome our fear and start acting can we achieve a different landscape and a different self, and that we must be able to feel the joy of overcoming fear and the fulfillment of striving more than before. For my part, I felt like I really needed to act like Haw. I am a procrastinator at ordinary times. I always hand in my homework and take part in activities very close to the deadline. I've found that it makes me miss the scenery and feel good about finishing ahead of time, so lately I've been trying to overcome procrastination as much as I can. It might be a little different from Haw's story, but for me, overcoming fear and moving into the unknown is about changing a bad habit and becoming a better person. I'll keep working on it just like Haw is still working on it.
