The Palace Museum
We visited the Palace Museum, located in Beijing. It was the meeting and living spaces for past Chinese emperors. The palaces are very beautifully designed and carefully built, showing off the monetary and political power of those who ruled.
Some items inside museum have lived a few hundred years, and thus were kind of fading away. I just learned that there are teams of experts that are in charge of recovering the antiques. Many of them come from top art schools, and stay in the museum for years. Some of the items take months to fix, recolor, even remodel. Thanks to them, now we can see many amazing artifacts that can only be enjoyed by the ancient Chinese emperors.
