"Player 6 is elected Sheriff! Last night was a safe night. Sheriff, please choose the speech order: clockwise from the Sheriff or counterclockwise from the Sheriff. Player 7, you will speak first."
Player 7 explained, "I abstained from voting in the first round because I couldn't tell whether Player 1 or Player 5 was the real Seer. I voted for Player 6 in the second round because I thought she was a good person, and I figured I'd just follow her lead." She then named Players 3, 4, and 10 as her wolf suspects. Eve was baffled—why wouldn't she want the Seer to take the Sheriff badge? And she hadn't given any reasons for accusing Players 3, 4, and 10 either. She must be a wolf, Eve thought.
Player 8, Eve, laid out her entire thought process behind her votes, and voiced her suspicion of Player 7, stating firmly, "I'm siding with Player 5, and I'll vote however he does." She caught Evelyn shooting her an appreciative glance, and a faint flutter went through her heart.
Player 9 declared, "I'm siding with Player 1. Today, we either vote out Player 13, who claimed Player 1 was a Villager, or we vote out Player 3." Wait, hasn't Player 3 even spoken yet? Eve found Player 9's words odd.
Player 10 named Players 1, 3, 7, and 13 as his wolf suspects. Eve still remembered how impressive he'd been in their last game—he'd identified all four wolves on the second day as the Guardian, and even secured a safe night for the good team. Since he was siding with the same camp as her this round, she decided to take his opinion as a reference, though she noted that Player 3, whom he'd accused, hadn't had a chance to speak yet, so she'd wait to hear Player 3's side first.
Player 11 sided with Player 5, saying, "Player 3 is at least a Villager or a special role." Eve wondered how he could define Player 3's identity without having heard a single word from her.
Player 12, on the other hand, cast doubt on Player 3's identity. Player 3 is definitely a tricky card to read, Eve mused.
Player 13 argued, "Player 10 is an active wolf siding with the fake Seer, Player 6 is a Mechanical Villager, and Player 5 is the wolf posing as Seer." Eve scoffed internally—if Player 6 was a Mechanical Villager copying someone's identity, how could she have recognized her fellow wolf posing as Seer during the nomination phase and spoken up to defend him? Coupled with Player 13's move of claiming Seer and then withdrawing during the nomination, Eve was certain he couldn't be a good person.
Player 10 insisted, "I really am the Seer. I checked Player 2—she's a Villager. Even though she abstained in the first round of voting, she voted for me in the second round, which means she does accept her identity as a Villager. I don't think I'm a Mechanical Villager, and everyone shouldn't refuse to side with me just because of that possibility." Fine then, Eve thought, I'll listen to Player 2's speech before making up my mind.
Player 2 said, "I really am a Villager. I abstained in the first round because I was afraid Player 1 was trying to frame me. I voted for him in the second round because I thought he really did check me as a Villager. But now that everyone is siding with Player 5, I'm having second thoughts." Eve thought her speech was mediocre at best, and began analyzing the possibility that Player 2 was a wolf given a false Villager identity by her fellow wolf Player 1.
Player 3 stated simply, "I'm a Villager." Eve didn't understand why a player who wasn't even in the current voting spotlight would reveal their identity so casually, and started to think Player 10's list of wolf suspects might be on the mark.
Player 4 pointed out, "Player 1 is a common wolf suspect. If you side with Player 5, then Player 1 is the fake Seer; if you side with Player 1, then his confirmed good person has turned against him." He added, "I think one of Player 1 or Player 13 is the Mechanical Hunter, which is why the main wolf and the minor wolf ended up clashing." Besides that, he suspected Players 7 and 3 were wolves. Eve thought his judgment aligned with hers—he must be a good person.
Then Player 5 dropped a bombshell, "I'm not the Seer. I'm siding with Player 13. I confirm Players 10 and 4 are good people. We vote out Player 6 today." He then named Players 1, 2, and 7 as his other three wolf suspects. Eve was stunned—hadn't Player 13 withdrawn his claim to the Seer role? Could Player 5 actually be the Mechanical Hunter? she wondered. If that's the case, where is the real Seer? Did he accidentally team up with the wolves?
Thankfully, it was time for Sheriff Player 6, Evelyn, to speak next. She said calmly, "I think Player 5 is a good person who's just playing recklessly. The real Seer tried to signal to Player 5 to proxy claim for him, but Player 5 didn't go along with it." She suspected Player 4 was the wolf who had egged Player 5 into teaming up with the wrong side, and thought Player 2 was the wolf given a false Villager identity by her fellow wolf Player 1. She advised the hidden real Seer, "You should investigate Player 10 next—he has a surprisingly broad perspective for someone not in the spotlight. We vote out Player 13 today, and the Witch should poison Player 1, the fake Seer." Eve's mind raced—Player 6 was the only one who spoke after Player 5 during the nomination phase. Could Evelyn herself be the real Seer? Either way, Eve was convinced Evelyn was a good person, and she was ready to follow her lead—especially if there was a chance she was the Seer.
"All speeches are now concluded. Please close your eyes and prepare to vote. Sheriff, please announce your final vote target. Sheriff votes for Player 13. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1—cast your votes."
"Player 13 has been eliminated. Please deliver your final words."
Player 13 pleaded, "I'm a good person! I only claimed Player 1 was a Villager for fun during the nomination phase, and I withdrew my claim afterward." He didn't sound like a good person at all. I definitely made the right choice following Evelyn, Eve thought.
"Player 13's final words are concluded. Do you wish to activate any special skills? 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Everyone, it's nightfall—please close your eyes."
Thank goodness Player 13 wasn't the Mechanical Hunter, Eve thought as she shut her eyes.
