9月29日，国家主席习近平就中日邦交正常化50周年同日本首相岸田文雄互致贺电。习近平指出，50年前的今天，中日两国老一辈领导人审时度势，高瞻远瞩，作出实现中日邦交正常化的重大政治决断，揭开了两国关系崭新篇章。
President Xi Jinping and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida exchanged congratulatory messages over the 50th anniversary of the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic relations on Sept. 29. In his message, Xi pointed out that 50 years ago, the then Chinese and Japanese leaders grasped the situation with foresight and made a major political decision to normalize China-Japan diplomatic relations, which opened a new chapter in bilateral relations.
